1.A connecting hyperlink of an O-ring Chain for basic application is pre-coated with grease on the pins. Before connection, verify the grease over the surfaces of pins, and if the amount of grease is little, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are utilised, the grease is going to be absorbed by the gloves.)
Example: When the connecting website link (I) of an O-ring chain for common 
application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted with the roots from the pins. If your O-rings come loose as a consequence of vibration throughout transport, refit the O-rings in for the roots from the pins.
In this instance, you’ll want to return the grease collected with the roots with the pins to your central surfaces on the pins, a lot more at portion A than at portions B proven in the over illustration. (Portions A is worn due to sliding with all the bushings.)
two.The chain is often most simply connected to the teeth of a sprocket. Engage the back links at the two ends with the chain with the sprocket teeth and match connecting pins. If your sprocket is usually moved, the chain can also be linked to the loosened side.
three. Connecting procedure
one.Confirm that O-rings are connected on the roots in the pins.
two.In the event the level of grease applied over the connecting pins is smaller, coat the pins with grease on the central portions.
3.Insert the connecting pins to the bushings in the inner back links at both ends.
4.Confirm the grease is utilized to your whole face on the O-ring, and match the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
five.Insert the connecting pins into the connecting plate and although pressing the connecting plate, set up the spring clip. Confirm no matter whether the head (the finish without a split) of your spring clip is turned in the feeding direction of the chain. (See the following illustration.)
six.You’ll want to verify that the spring clip is securely fitted from the clip grooves with the connecting pins.
This completes jointing of your connecting link. Note that grease on the surfaces of connecting pins and O-rings is usually removed through set up function. In this instance, re-grease applying the grease within the surface of your base chain or the grease within the polyethylene bag by which the connecting website link was contained.
